observation 6 "Internet breakdown"
On Monday happened something unusual, Internet breakdown. Of course, it wasn't the whole Internet, but most of the social media, Facebook, messenger, what's up, Instagram. It wasn't long, just a few hours, but a lot of people were freaking out. I understand that people have groups on it to communicate with each other. People are working on it and have information about school/work. Those are okay, but...it isn't everybody problem. A lot of people, mostly teenagers, have gone crazy cuz they cannot post something on Instagram, that can't send the meme to a friend etc. It could be frustrating, but still, it was just a few hours. Maybe we should think about our addiction to the Internet. And if it is a big problem, take some time off.
We have allowed technology to run our life. The Internet is one problem but imagine something more serious, like a major power cut - no electricity in the whole country for 24 hours. The whole state might collapse - banks, state institutions, food storage, heating, communications systems. Governments could fall over this.
